  1. I believe jad is a passive aggressive.
  2. Attendance in Cincinatti reminds me of pre-1967 Fenway.
  3. Everyone has an opinion. As for Bonds and Clemens, I detest both. Btw, how come you didn't mention A-rod, whom I also detest?
  4. Actually, these were the top ten players who have not been inducted.
  5. My bad. It was supposed to be Scott Rolen. I corrected it on the original post.
  6. Another from the top ten was Keith Hernandez. Considered by many as the best defensive 1st baseman in the history of MLB.
  7. Watched an interesting youtube video earlier regarding the top 10 players who have been snubbed from the MLB HOF. None of the ten were involved in the steroid controversy. Schilling was on that list, along with Lou Whitacre, Fred McGriff, Andrew Jones, Todd Helton, Dick Allen, Scott Rolen, Billy Wagner and a couple more. McGriff was sited as the biggest snub.
  8. Except for the best, imho, LH hitter in MLB Freddy Freeman.
  9. Maybe last night was the beginning of his contract run.
  10. C. Seabold vs C. Anderson Pham Devers Bogey Dugo JD Casas REF McGuire Kike I'm predicting that Seabold lowers his ERA(11.91) after his start tonight. Go SOX!
  11. I was referring to one could either have fun tonight or one could have Wong Chang.
  12. Vin Scully and Bob Uecker. Two baseball announcers with completely different personalities, who were/are as good as it gets behind the mic.
  13. He's pretty much what was referred to in the old days as a 'jock.'
  14. Yup. Votto reminds me of Herschel Walker. Talks and talks and says nothing.
  15. Getting the Reds' feed. Joey Votto in the booth is as bad as it gets.
  16. I'm just hoping Bloom does not offer JD a QO, even if it means losing a mid-level prospect.
  17. Pick one. You can't have both.
  18. B. Bello vs N. Lodolo Pham Devers Bogey JD Dugo REF Kike Chang(1B) Wong Yu's on 1st. Go SOX!
  19. I agree. I like Pivetta and the attitude he displays on the mound. Like I posted earlier I believe his best years are ahead of him and, hopefully, while he's with the SOX.
  20. I remember when the Mets joined the league and how many years it took them to find a reliable 3rd baseman. Btw, the honor of being the Mets' first 3rd baseman goes to Don Zimmer.
  21. OB just announced that the Dodgers won their 100th game yesterday, which prompts me to post that Freddy Freeman, imho, is the best LH hitter in MLB.
  22. Pivetta's career WHIP is 1.38. His WHIP so far this season is 1.34. That's not very good so says Capt Obvious.
  23. It should change to 40-49 after this game.
  24. Won/Lost can be a misleading statistic when evaluating a pitcher's performance, but based on Nick's other pitching stats it seems appropriate that his MLB career W/L is 39-49.
  25. That the SOX are 3rd in the AL in runs scored makes me believe they have to be leading the league in most games scoring 10 or more runs.
