The SOX have had a lot of double digit runs this season and a whole lot of 3 runs or less. They don't seem to score much when Wacha's pitching or his record would be even better.
Much of the SOX positive offensive numbers were acquired in the month of June. What a month that was.
The guy who returned Judge's 60th HR received an autographed ball and bat and a couple of years of season tickets. If he had held out, he probably could have gotten $100,000.00, which is couch change for the Yankem organization.
Of the 30 teams in MLB this season only 1 will be successful; the other 29 have failed. The SOX have been successful 4 times since 2004. That makes them the most successful team since the turn of the century. This is my 'glass half-full' look at the situation.
No 61st for Mr Judge tonight, so the odds are he will do it against the SOX just as Maris did. Only thing to make this season bearable is the Yankems getting eliminated in the PO's again.
I believe the SOX are looking ahead to tomorrow's game against the Yankems or perhaps the SOX are just not a very good team.
It could be a combination of the two.
