    How's it going Vegas. Well, the BRUINS hockey team exceeded expectations this season with a less than stellar team. They simply overachieved. Let's just hope this SOX team can do the same. Well, to be honest, the BRUINS did have exceptional goaltending most of the season.

    TCM is terrific. No commercial interruptions and a great place to find noir films, which are my favorites. I believe I've watched DOUBLE INDEMNITY over a dozen times. It never gets old. Speaking of the late, great Spencer Tracy, I thought he was also excellent in the film BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK. Including a top-notch supporting cast of Robert Ryan(one of my all-time favorite actors), Lee Marvin and Ernest Borgnine. That's another one I've watched more than a few times.

    Speaking of Betts, does anyone ever remember a Gold Glove RF later in his career becoming a SS? I don't.

    Betts, Ohtani, and Freeman. Is that the best 1-2-3 in the recent history of baseball? Can anyone think of a better one?

    I discovered recently that the opening day average ticket price at Dodger stadium was $532.00. So I'm guessing hot dogs and beer prices s/b close to $100.00. The mustard is free, though.

    Syracuse had the mildest winter in recent history, but it's always good to survive winter. Glad you did, also.

    I believe the SOX will be tied for 1st after their game tonight. They're due to win an opening game.

    Not a bad thing for the best team in the AL to open the season at home against the Angels.

    Well, he's never seen from the waist down, so one, fortunately, can't be certain.

    The O's new owner said they wouldn't do anything crazy until after they win 4 championships.

    The only weakness I spot on the O's is their color guy, Jim Palmer, who is still an irritating A-hole and probably always will be.
