  1. Great job by Crawford today. Only the 2nd starter for the SOX to pitch 6 or more scoreless innings this season. Also, Masa was Massive today.
  2. Had to leave after the 6th inning. Just finished watching the rest of the game and discovered this. Just when you thought you'd seen the shittiest pitcher the Sox could bring to the mound so far this season, it turns out they even have a shittier pitcher in reserve. Faria and others like him are the reasons expansion makes so little sense.
  3. When the foul pole should actually be called the fair pole, one has an inkling that baseball doesn't always make sense.
  4. Steele provides further proof that even the best pitchers have off days. Paxton was proof of that yesterday.
  5. They've spent a lot more on a lot less. Thank you, Capt. Obvious.
  6. Mass Attack! That certainly wasn't a ground ball. Man of Steele has met his Kryptonite.
  7. 3rd game from the Cubs' feed and I can safely announce, imho, Joe Girardi is insufferable. Similar to Youk, but with a lot more whine in his voice.
  8. You're right; it didn't matter, but he should have been on third.
  9. Perfect throw will always kill slow.
  10. Masa does kill a lot of worms. Hits ground balls 56% of his AB's. League average is 43%.
  11. The steal sign comes from the bench.
  12. DEVERS DEliVERS! Hope that ill advised steal attempt doesn't come back to haunt.
  13. Hey, MAX, looks like your tomorrow's game thread opener. You're due for a streak.
  14. On the bright side, at least the SOX didn't have to use their 2 best relievers, Kenley and Martin, today.
  15. I'm not a fan of Boone's, but I will say this about him. He's not afraid to confront these inept chUMPS when they're calling a bad game. I believe his players respect that.
  16. When Devers swings at pitches outside the strike zone, there's complaints. When he doesn't swing at pitches outside the strike zone, he garners complaints. The pitches were either balls or strikes. The F'ing ump called two pitches outside the strike zone strikes. Devers should have been pissed. In fact, I compliment him for not confronting the chUMP and getting tossed.
  17. It should be interesting what the SOX FO does before the TDL, especially when both Sale and Story won't be returning until after the TDL. I guess the next 10 games against under .500 teams will have a big say it what will be done.
  18. Another chUMP who deserves a foul tip off the mask.
  19. No doubt. His main problem that I could see was his tightness at the plate. He seems much more relaxed these last two games and the results have been much better.
  20. Like I'd just posted the SOX have won 9 of their last 10 with 3 starters. You seem to ignore how impressive that is. Btw, your 'too lows' definitely outweigh your 'too highs.'
  21. Casas continues his good at bats from yesterday. Looks like he did some positive things during the break.
  22. Entering this game the SOX had won 9 of their last 10. I guess they were due for a beat down.
