  1. I hope the SOX don't see this guy when they go to Philly.
  2. The bunt was the only right call.
  3. Holt your horses. Wait, Holt is a horse.
  4. It is true that Lester was the last good pitcher to come thru the SOX organization. That's remarkable.
  5. That SALE has a 2.03 ERA in the AL is truly awesome.
  6. I will concede that Lester did have to pitch in the AL for much of his career and Nola does pitch in the weaker NL. When Lester moved to the NL, his pitching stats were much improved.
  7. Lester was a long time ago and he was never as good as Nola.
  8. Btw, this kid isn't blessed with the best defense behind him. Thank goodness for that.
  9. Man, after all these years, one would think the SOX could develop at least one starter with this kid's talent.
  10. I think his stuff is very overwhelming.
  11. JD can't resist those low outside pitches. But when the pitcher doesn't get it low or outside enough, JD makes them pay. Nola just has outstanding control.
  12. Except for Sale, I haven't been impressed by a pitcher this year as much as this Nola guy. He's only 25 and came up thru their system.
  13. A pitching duel. A rare thing in baseball now of days.
  14. Btw, Sandy has been an iron man behind the plate. He'll probably be catching tomorrow with POM pitching..
  15. I think it was a straight steal. I doubt Cora calls hit and run with Sandy at the plate.
  16. Nola's thinking I wish I had JBJ in CF.
  17. Nunez hit that hard. Too hard for Herrara to catch it.
  18. Very nice play by Nunez.
  19. Nola's OBA is .202. That's scary.
  20. Sadly, the SOX will be facing a pretty good pitcher tomorrow, also.
  21. Nunez is much better defensively at 3rd.
  22. OK, I saw Larry and Moe in that base running, but where the hell was Curly?
  23. Nola is probably the best pitcher the SOX have faced so far this year. His stats don't lie. He throws an easy 95mph.
