  1. Those swinging bunts take years to perfect.
  2. I've noticed from your posts that you thing Cora is infallible.
  3. Pearce is going to hit another dinger.
  4. Brasier gets the job done again. The guy's got balls.
  5. Don't be dissing Brasier; he's on a very short list of good SOX relievers.
  6. Note to Beni and JBJ: If you can't hit anything, you better catch everything.
  7. Just the opposite of the Astros' thinking.
  8. Bregman has been the best player in the PO's. AL and NL.
  9. Pressly resembles Lester.
  10. I'm referring to the defense. Geez.
  11. Reading comprehension much? I would have JD batting 3rd or 4th and I would have Pearce batting 3rd or 4th. Does that make it easier for you?
  12. Eovaldi should sue for non-support.
  13. Please stay as long as possible, Eovaldi. Hopefully 7 innings.
  14. One of my worst predictions this year was believing Kinsler would be a help offensively. I was totally WRONG. Holt could bat RH in these games and do no worse. Again, I don't blame Kinsler, I blame Cora.
  15. Btw, in future games in this series, please, Cora, have Pearce bat 3rd or clean-up.
  16. Since Pearce has joined the SOX, he has been terrific. He gives you good at bats.
  17. Credit where credit's due. Nice defensive inning by Nunez.
  18. Can you imagine how difficult it is to pitch in a ML ballgame and then have your manager instruct you not to let the opposing batters hit anything towards 3rd base? That's too much to ask of any pitcher. It would be easier to just acquire a real 3rd baseman.
  19. Eovaldi has to keep the Astros from hitting the ball towards 3rd base.
  20. The batters 6-9 against LH's is the Grand Canyon. Seriously, could Holt and Devers be worse?
  21. I'm guessing POR will be available again today if needed.
  22. Note to Sheffield who favors Astros because of home field: Hey, knucklehead, did you notice the Astros home record during the regular season?
  23. Eovaldi's success against the Yankems was based on his high fastball that the Yankem batters were trying to hit for HR's. Based on swing angle, that favored Eovaldi. The Astros, like the SOX, are not going to be swinging for the fences, which doesn't favor Eovaldi.
  24. Don't know how this will play in the ALCS, but the Astros were a much better team on the road than at home during the regular season.
  25. The NHL uses the 2-2-1-1-1 PO schedule.
