Then we don't want him in the BP.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Oh, I forgot to mention, it was against the KC Royals.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Gibson's last start was 8 innings of 2 hit ball.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The bats are at the mercy of the batters.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    E-rod>Doubront. I'm>Doubront.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It's actually disgusting when a pitcher isn't taking bunting practice seriously. Like I posted a while back, if a player isn't a good hitter, at least learn how to bunt properly.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Do not piss off the baseball gods. They don't care what your salary is.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Scherzer was disrespecting the art of the bunt, so the baseball gods busted his nose.

If Minnesota was once regarded as the Twinkies, I guess it's only fair to say that the Hostess Cupcakes are down 1-0.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It means Price is very fragile or Cora's an idiot. Either answer would be acceptable.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Of course, that's before taxes.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
With Price it's simple math. He makes 1 million per start.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Thanks, good to know. Well, at least, we have one Josh left, who actually pitched quite well in this game. I understand your disappointment. I would have loved to have seen those two pitch in the same game, also. Maybe it will happen in the near future.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'm guessing Josh Smith was unavailable tonight. Or did Cora forget he hadn't been used? Always a problem when a team has two Joshes.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Just would love to hear Cora's explanation for pulling Price. He got lot splaining to do.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Johnson did come thru the SOX system, so his performance as a pitcher should not be surprising.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Cora can take a large share of the blame for this loss.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Should be interesting what line-up mama Cora has set up for later today's game.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I agree with that also. Jack Morris is interesting.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It's very rare one gets to bat 8 times in one game. Maybe more.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I completely agree. The BP has overachieved in these last two games.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It ain't over...well you know the rest.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
JD doing a spot on imitation of Mark Reynolds and/or Chris Davis. Not a good thing.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Anyone here familiar with the term "an exercise in futility?"
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Yup. I'd be listening to the game and watching the clock at the same time.
