  1. A perfect copy of a Devers' K a couple weeks ago.
  2. Of late Hembree is no better or no worse than anyone else in the pen, excluding perhaps Bra man.
  3. BTW, excellent start by POR tonight.
  4. Hard to make critiques when your team is 50 games over .500, but I'll continue my rant that JD s/b batting 3rd.
  5. Like a pitcher falling in love with one of his pitches, Beni seems to have fallen in love with hitting to the opposite field.
  6. Guitar players hardly ever make good defensive 1st basemen.
  7. I'd never heard the word stadium used to describe a sand box.
  8. Some players do much better in a smaller market. I'm looking at you Travis Shaw.
  9. If I was the ump, I'd squeeze this moron on the mound until his head popped.
  10. The best example of a player who couldn't handle the pressure of playing in Boston compared to a small market team was Carl Crawford.
  11. Imho, pitching for Tampa is much less pressure-filled than pitching for Boston or NY.
  12. Pivetta really didn't fool anyone that inning. No one said baseball was fair.
  13. Gee, the booth on MLB, Kostas and Kaat, are talking about making rules regarding the shift. Two guys on each side of 2nd or no one in the shift can be out of the infield, or once in the shift to start a batter, it cannot be changed during his at bat. Wow, Ted, look at the mess you've started.
  14. I remember when LaRusso, when he managed the Cards, in many games he would bat his pitcher 8th. That might work well when Por's pitching in the WS.
  15. Keep it up, rick, por favor.
  16. The other option is Nunez, who actually hits better when playing 3rd.
  17. Gabe wore #18 on the 2004 SOX. Kind of ironic.
  18. POR better not be POOR tonight.
  19. I can't remember the last time the AL has had this amount of lousy teams.
  20. Cora isn't overusing Kimbrel; Kimbrel is overusing Kimbrel.
