  1. Not to mention that, imho, it shortened Youk's career when he was moved to 3rd after Beltre left.
  2. I can't help but wonder how much simpler things would have been for the SOX over the years at 3rd base if they'd only signed Beltre to a long term contract back when he was on the team. Major mistake by the Theo.
  3. Now that the 3 run lead is no longer, I guess we can go back to being miserable bitches.
  4. His SO of the Yankems will be his season highlight. He could still be useful in the BP during the playoffs.
  5. The difference between Eovaldi and Devers at the plate is that Eovaldi has a plan.
  6. I would have no problem replacing Devers at 3rd with Nunez.
  7. Opportunity to put this game away lost.
  8. Nothing good comes from walking the opposing pitcher. Nice stroke by Mitch.
  9. With 2 outs and runner in scoring position, the last guy I want at the plate is Devers.
  10. With tonight's win the SOX are 9-2 in inter-league play so far this season. 43-15 vs ALE, 14-8 vs ALC, 20-10 vs ALW. 69-23 vs RH, 17-12 vs LH. Except for the Cubs, the SOX have had the fewest decisions against LH pitchers.
  11. Further notice will be sometime in October; hopefully, very late October.
  12. This team is special, but until further notice, I'm going with the 2007 team.
  13. Leon and Holt provide all the runs. I seriously doubt I'll ever post that again.
  14. A save is a save, but Kimbrel, at this point, is not the same machine he was before the ASG.
  15. Damn, my bad. He sounded like Kaat. But you're right, they're both good.
  16. I try to respect the English language. Not always successful.
  17. My apologies to Bobby; he wasn't a human PED dispenser like his son.
  18. I corrected it to Barry Bonds' head.
  19. Devers' strike zone is as big as Barry Bonds' head.
  20. Watching game on MLB. Kostas is an acquired taste, but Kaat goes down easy. Gee, that doesn't sound right.
  21. Except with Devers, the ball didn't hit him; it went right between his legs. Probably never see that again in my lifetime.
  22. In the ALE the Phils would have a worse record than Tampa. Jasonbay should probably mention that to one of the Phils' fans at the game.
