    To avoid monotony, I wouldn't mind throwing KC and Baltimore into the mix.

    I attempted to look this up, but I couldn't find it. Would it surprise anyone here if the SOX BP led the AL in innings pitched?

    I never said it was good, but continually exposing them on a daily basis isn't going to make them look better. The starting pitching needs to share some of that blame. Especially considering the high percentage of the payroll that they're receiving.

    A good way to make a BP seem worse than they actually are is to have them pitch 3 and 4 innings on a daily basis.

    It appears that Marco may be the fastest runner on the SOX.

    Averaging 20 pitches per inning against the Tigers is not a strong game plan.

    Recent past history shows that this will be Price's last inning. 4 innings coming up for the BP. After this game Price will have thrown 83 innings so far this year, which doesn't qualify him for official league stats.

    The SOX play 3 against the Dodgers at Fenway right after the break. Based on the SOX home record this year, not sure that's an advantage for them.

    Marco reminds me of that last bite of an ice cream cone. Really delicious. Marco's the last bite from the SOX farm system and so far he's been delicious.
