  1. Surprised sit and spit didn't ask for a review on that play at home. Nice play by Mitch.
  2. Just about as much as the SOX offense of late.
  3. Going into tonight's game the Guardians have two starters that are 15-6. One would think the tribe was the team 50 games over .500.
  4. Kluber is an ACE. Sale is an ACE. Only so many aces in the deck.
  5. Rick, box of chocolates, Porcello. One never knows what to expect when he starts. It's either good or bad, not much in-between.
  6. I'm guessing that 90% of JD's strike outs are on pitches low and way outside. He just can't lay off that pitch and I'm thinking all the ML pitchers are now aware of that.
  7. This I totally agree with.
  8. One's so-so pitching might be described as excellent pitching by another, who is more objective.
  9. When a team wins 2 of 3 and their winning percentage goes down, that's really weird.
  10. No sweat. We'll pull this one out.
  11. Seriously? What the hell are they facing now?
  12. Has everyone on the SOX stopped hitting in the last 15 innings or has Tampa's pitching just been that good. I tend to believe it's the Rays' pitching. That last guy Alvarado was just plain nasty.
  13. Losing one of three to the Rays isn't as bad as losing to the s*** teams I posted earlier. Plus, this game isn't over yet.
  14. The SOX pretty much used a BP game.
  15. If one looks at Tampa's won/lost record and then one looks at their offense; it has to be their pitching and defense that keeps them near .500.
  16. That's what they kept saying about Jason Voorhees.
  17. Thank goodness Cash took Beeks out of there.
  18. Nice 4 innings by LAZ.
  19. Yup, 1978 never happened. It was an illusion.
  20. Another web gem by Betts.
  21. Beeks won't be the 1st player to excel in a small market environment. Although, to be honest, I'd rather the SOX had traded POM than Beeks. I believe that's called an understatement, signed Captain Obvious.
  22. The Jays, like the O's, the Royals, the White Sox, the Tigers, are s*** teams that good teams should beat on a regular basis.
  23. How embarrassing would it be if Beeks held the SOX runless for 5+ innings?
  24. Well, sometimes one has to tip one's cap to the opposition's offense. or lack there of.
  25. Main goal of baseball game: Score more runs than opposition. How a team does that is immaterial.
