  1. Bra throws strikes. He's been a real pleasant find for the BP.
  2. His leg is still not 100%. It appeared to be a week ago, but not now. Oh, well, he did hit a big HR today.
  3. That step that Nunez seemed to have gained a week or so ago appears to have disappeared.
  4. Nice job and under 20 pitches. Doubly impressed.
  5. With 92 pitches I think he could have another inning, but, of course, that's Cora's decision.
  6. True, Moon, but Price is one of the starters the SOX s/b getting 7 innings from.
  7. BP: Hopefully things won't get too interesting.
  8. Excellent job by Price against a hot-hitting O's team.
  9. Never look a gift bird in the mouth.
  10. X-man having an X-cellent game so far.
  11. With this Moon Mullins kid, the O's look like they've got a future star.
  12. Sorry, Leon's fast out prevented back to back. So fast I didn't see it.
  13. This SOX offense is relentless.
  14. Nunez and JBJ back to back. Never posted that before.
  15. Congrats to Cora for giving Nunez the OK to swing on 3-0.
  16. Chris Davis should be the poster boy regarding when long-term contracts go bad.
  17. The O's have the highest team BA since the ASG.
  18. Besides the obvious, another good reason to play the O's is that it won't be televised on ESPN Sunday.
  19. You're right. My bad.
  20. Back in the day, Ned Martin and The Hawk were a good combo in the booth.
  21. A manager would never employ the shift against hitters like Brett and Boggs. One was coached by Charlie Lau and the other by Walt Hriniak, who both believed strongly in hitting to the opposite field.
  22. Ted would never hit to the opposite field unless it was an accident. His theory of hitting was to pull everything. It's just surprising he didn't face the shift even earlier in his career. In fact, it might be that it was only the Guardians under Cronin that implemented the shift against him.
  23. I agree. Orsillo was a damn good play by play guy. NESN's firing of him with no explanation was unclassy as hell. Well, the SOX loss was the Padres' gain.
  24. Remy's the best, followed closely by ECK.
