  1. 11 pitches. KOJI-like.
  2. SOX caught a break there. Bogie made that closer than it should have been.
  3. 5-2 isn't brand new. However, the stuff Price is throwing tonight wouldn't pass muster against a good offense.
  4. I don't know what kind of fertilizer the Rays use in their pitching farm, but I wish the SOX could steal some of it.
  5. Good point. My post wasn't well thought out.
  6. Jim Dandy! Triple crown anybody?
  7. My two favorite 007 movies are GOLDFINGER and FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE. Robert Shaw was amazing in FRWL.
  8. Speaking of wood; X-man got some good wood tonight.
  9. Thornburg doing a great impersonation of Bobby Shantz.
  10. I think he's referring to Pussy Galore. She was a pretty tough cookie.
  11. Does anyone here know of any catchers, past or present, who run as fast as SWI?
  12. Nunez has hit the ball hard all night.
  13. One thing's for sure; his value has increased.
  14. Beautiful throw by SWI.
  15. My bad. He has 147 hits; I forgot to subtract his extra base hits from his total hits. Your figure is correct.
  16. JBJ! Not sure Leon would have scored on that.
  17. SWI has also done a nice job behind the plate again.
  18. Nice job by BJ again.
  19. Before steroids made a joke of offensive stats, it was a big accomplishment for a hitter to end the season with 400 or more total bases. In fact, Joe DiMaggio did it in 1941 and it wasn't done again until 1978 when Jim Rice accomplished that feat. Right now JD has 364 total bases.
  20. Cash maybe should walk X-man.
  21. Considering what the brass gave Cash to work with this year, Cash is definitely a top contender for MOTY.
  22. Nunez is a completely different player at 3rd than at 2nd. This definitely improves the infield defense; Kinsler playing 2nd doesn't hurt either. Kudos to Holt for his excellent stint at 2nd base.
