Good to know. He has been darn consistent so far this year. Kudos to EO.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Damn, I was hoping EO would go 7 just because it could be said that a RED SOX starter did go 7 once this year.

Devers is a delight to watch at the plate. He should wear a 'warning sign' on his jersey.

Usually, all teams have some weaknesses in their make-up, but LA doesn't appear to have any. If that team stays fairly healthy they will be an immovable object.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Fortunately for the RED SOX and other contenders in the AL there is no dominant team. That's not the case in the NL.

SOX play the O's 4 games from May 7th thru the 10th. That will be 10 games against the O's before the SOX even play their 1st against the Yankems. Schedule makers must be on some illegal substance.

Love to see a pitcher who can throw the ball to 1st base.

    Is Marwin the new Brockstar?
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    They Dugo a long ways.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Based on Dalbec's stance at the plate, it appears he's been working with JD.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The only thing that can slow down this good SOX offense is good pitching. Good pitching will also slow down other teams' offenses.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Why not. Just more coddling and they get paid more for less.

X-tra innings for some unknown reason isn't carrying this game. Doesn't sound like I'm missing much to this point. Btw, 7 inning baseball truly SUX! Shame on MLB.

Just finished watching the BRUINS beat the Caps 6-3. This was the BRUINS 3rd game in 4 days in which they won all 3. No coddling of players in the NHL.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Did have a lefty Marwin on the bench, but god-like Cora, I guess, doesn't believe in PH's.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Nice job by Valdez.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
As good as this RED SOX line-up is, Devers is the most dangerous hitter, imho.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    That was a 'bummer.'
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
That was a 'pesky' at bat.

Mercedes is built more like an RV.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Well, at least Arroyo's shin guard is red.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Can't argue that.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    JBJ lite.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
This type of pitching may be what we'll see when Sale returns.

I, also, dislike 7 inning games. I love the DH, but every change since then I've not enjoyed.
