  1. Damn, it sucks when anyone gets injured, but s***, did it have to be our best hitter. Let's hope it's not serious.
  2. A fine example of the Peter Principle was Carl Crawford. He was very good in a small market; he gets promoted to a large market team and becomes completely incompetent.
  3. Hey, I resemble that statement.
  4. Peter Principle=A person rises to a certain spot until he/she reaches a level of respective incompetence.
  5. Twins are doing what the SOX did last year. OVERACHIEVING.
  6. He's pretty much reached his peter principle.
  7. As a pitcher E-rod is somewhere between a #4 and a #5.
  8. Maybe Brock should bat 2nd.
  9. Then we don't want him in the BP.
  10. Oh, I forgot to mention, it was against the KC Royals.
  11. Gibson's last start was 8 innings of 2 hit ball.
  12. The bats are at the mercy of the batters.
  13. E-rod>Doubront. I'm>Doubront.
  14. It's actually disgusting when a pitcher isn't taking bunting practice seriously. Like I posted a while back, if a player isn't a good hitter, at least learn how to bunt properly.
  15. Do not piss off the baseball gods. They don't care what your salary is.
  16. Scherzer was disrespecting the art of the bunt, so the baseball gods busted his nose.
  17. If Minnesota was once regarded as the Twinkies, I guess it's only fair to say that the Hostess Cupcakes are down 1-0.
  18. It means Price is very fragile or Cora's an idiot. Either answer would be acceptable.
  19. Of course, that's before taxes.
  20. With Price it's simple math. He makes 1 million per start.
  21. Thanks, good to know. Well, at least, we have one Josh left, who actually pitched quite well in this game. I understand your disappointment. I would have loved to have seen those two pitch in the same game, also. Maybe it will happen in the near future.
  22. I'm guessing Josh Smith was unavailable tonight. Or did Cora forget he hadn't been used? Always a problem when a team has two Joshes.
  23. Just would love to hear Cora's explanation for pulling Price. He got lot splaining to do.
  24. Johnson did come thru the SOX system, so his performance as a pitcher should not be surprising.
  25. Cora can take a large share of the blame for this loss.
