I believe Travis can eventually be a 280 hitter, with 15-20 homers, and a lot of doubles. I'm high on him, a pure gritty player.

I also care about our future love our young core following them is what makes it fun. I believe it's just time in the teams development to cash in some chips. We can thank Luchinno for opening his mouth and pissing off the Rangers and Arod, that I believe is what killed the deal. Lester at that time was a low A pitcher, that deal would really have changed the history of our franchise.

You are right very highly ranked and I'm sure for a good reason, but there are so many different outcomes that can happen.

Arod was the better all around ball player at that time and Manny was seen as a distraction.

Exactly I don't think there is anything there, but he was very young with those stats.

Schilling excited me also, but that whole Arod debacle that offseason and then Steinbrenner swooping in to get him put a damper on things. Looking back very happy we didn't get Arod, wonder how that would have changed our history.

We will see Espinoza is so far away and if pomerantz stays healthy it could work out.

Not as much competition as 04, the Yankees had a scary team, just added Arod, Vazquez, Sheffield and Brown. Defense and overall team speed should be much better then 04. Can use Papis bat in the middle of the lineup.
