  1. Adley Rutchmen has 2.2 FWar this year compared to Goodmans 2.5 But Adley did that in 67 games opposed to Hunters 102. All things equal Adley is the better catcher if healthy.
  2. I added witherspoon to my hypothetical trade. Witherspoon/Primera should get it done, but that's almost certainly not the trade.
  3. Maybe Primer/Witherspoon for Adley? slight overpay, which is what you need for MLB player for prospects.
  4. a LOT of smoke, havn'et seen the fire yet. Franklin Primera for Adley???? Wondering what it is going to cost us
  5. True, but he's still going to need some time to ramp up, if he's starting you're still looking at him giving innings in September. If you want to start resting guys or eating up innings now you have to go get someone.
  6. It feels like Keith Law has flipped, in recent years he's been more in love with our prospects than a hater of.
  7. I joke, but I actually did slice my finger open and developed a really bad infection. I ended up on antibiotics for a couple weeks, couldn't bend my finger, had to have it cut open and part of the tip and a bunch of skin died. Paper cuts are real, and dangerous #Papercutawareness
  8. I mean, who is the 2B of the future? Story? Mayer? If Arias is your SS next year (or you hope he is) it certainly makes sense to plug a guy at SS who can slide over to SS now OR next year.
  9. He also really slowed down in that 2024 season, he only looked like a really really good starter for 1/2 a season. I say keep him in the pen.
  10. I remember a time when Houck looked really good out of the bullpen and thought he might be our future 8/9 inning guy.
  11. How about a sweep of the LA Dodgers???? Has anyone not boarded the 2026 hype triain yet??? There's still room.
  12. Idk man, I work with paper….some of those paper cuts can be brutal
  13. I’m not claiming to know much about him either way, is he trending up or down? Idk….but the tigers liked him enough
  14. Not every guy who is Injured is a broken man with no value, almost everyone gets injured at some point in their career. He’s young, throws 100 mph with elite spin, if the team saw him rehab and really likes him they don’t care if he’s been united this year he’s a secondary piece and still ranked top 100 for a reason, his stuff is on a whole different level than Uberstine. we are talking about the secondary piece for a two month rental of a guy, albeit, a really good guy but still just two months.
  15. Correct, and having a top 100 prospect as your secondary piece ain’t too shabby
  16. Ok, but no one ever valued Uberstine that highly, I’m confused are we comparing him to Uberstine now or Mayer? Idk how people value Mayer but obviously the Tigers valued Ryan to trade the best pitcher in baseball for him
  17. Keith law also had him ranked as a top 50 prospect back in 2024 or 2025 idk
  18. He’s literally ranked #68 by pipeline right now. When was Uberstine ever ranked?
  19. Ryan was a top 100 guy with a 1.14 era in his first MLB starts before getting hurt. uberstine isn’t anywhere close to having that pedigree. a top 100 as the second piece for a rental is a pretty nice piece
  20. I was going to say that he's not the same player as he once was an reference his OPS vs RHP the last several years but Springer has reverse splits. He's better vs. RHP than he is against LHP. Or at least the last several years he has been. Except for this season, he has a .687 vs RHP and a .804 vs. LHP.
  21. Heres a trade that might work for Zach Neto Marcelo Mayer/Anthony Eyanson/Harold Rivas to LA for Zach Neto
  22. True, but Narvaez has literally only played something like 5 games more than Wong, they’ve been splitting time 50/50. Unless you’re DHing him a lot then hypothetically you’re playing a lot more in the field. If that’s the case it’s not so lateral. If Wong stays then it’s certainly not lateral
  23. I'm in zero way against Goodman, but people should just be prepared for the upgrade in the bat to be slightly offset by a big hit to the defense behind the plate.
