  1. I always see injuries to Pitchers in Spring Training.
  2. Rich Hill got paid 54 million, and he was 36, most he ever pitched in one season was 135 innings. Total 361 innings for the Dodgers. Price is better then that.
  3. Whether we want to admit it or not. Outside of Boston, this guy isn't the hottest name in any Off-Season. You don't see any team saying we absolutely got to have this guy. He's a Game changer.
  4. Somebody is going to offer a Crazy Contract next Off-Season, and I wonder how this new regime will be? Henry will have final word of course, but does he listen to new Front Office. That's a gamble too.
  5. If your going to sign Mookie, you got to sign him now. Too many teams will have bucks to throw next Off-Season.
  6. Good Luck signing him, that's a gamble, once he hits FA.
  7. Price in Dodger Stadium, plus with the Pitchers Parks in the NL West, might be a good deal. Why not see what is offered back to the Sox for Mookie too?
  8. Dodgers got to be in play for Price, but somebody has to be included, is my feeling. Mookie?
  9. This is when the Medical Staff comes into the picture. To me Eovaldi is the gamble, just because of production, and consistency, and history of injuries too.
  10. Been saying this from Day 1.
  11. 2nd half of 2018 Price was 6-1, with a 2.25 ERA. He was vital for us when Sale went down, that year. 1st half last year he was 7-2 with a 3.24 in AL East. Injury was the difference that's it. Bumgarner, was not better if you go by half of 1 year, and other half of other.
  12. I think Jackson is a Good Poster. Razzing between Sox-Yankee Fans is healthy. But, he does come across as fair to me. I think he's OK.
  13. Excuse me kids, I have to bring my empty bottles and cans to the store. I'm on a Budget too. I'll introduce you to my wife, talk about a Budget. I have no idea what were doing this Off-Season, she'll probably Trade me.
  14. hahaha, That too.
  15. Sox also took P Jose Espada form the Rule 5 Draft, from the Blue Jays.
  16. Agree, also a Key injury even in Spring Training say to another Pitcher, could change things.
  17. Ockimey not protected 2 years in a Row, went undrafted 2 years in a Row. Probably be just a straight DH my guess, so they can get Dalbec time at 1st.
  18. At 10 million I would have brought Rick back.
  19. Both FA's in 2022. Price pretty close I think too. This might happen.
  20. That really makes sense. Wont happen.
  21. NL, bigger park. Inning eater, good move by the Mets. He came out of the BP, the WS year in the Play-offs, and had some important Relief appearances, Fans forget. Just like Moreland's HR against the Dodgers, in game 4. Rick had 2 Holds in games in the Play-offs, that year.
  22. Wonder how much Cole's value drops after 4 season's. Go form 31 a year to 18, for Price. Price was 29 when he signed and turned 30 for us too. Cole same thing.
  23. Lot of pressure on Mookie too.
  24. Now all the Pressure is on the Yanks to win it all.
  25. Patience is a virtue. Teams are building their Roster, if someone they have in mind specifically, might be gone, so someone that is signed or moved, might, benefit the Sox by letting the Off-Season come to them. All they have right now is Salary to move, and every team knows this. Relax.
