Losing an inning eater like Porcello, is the last thing I would do. You never go through a season without, injuries to the Pitching staff. You got to have at least 1 steady starter. Last year Sale's Shoulder, 2 years ago Price, E-Rod always seems to be out long Periods. Not me, I want Rick.

He's not 11.5 million above average. 33 in March, no thanks. We need relievers, stay on point. 11.5 you could get a Damn good one, for 1 year. Man if a Catcher could hit just a steady .270, he would break the bank.

Still going to keep an eye on Alexander Montero this year. That's my binky, besides Reyes. ha The way this game is evolving, a Pitcher that commands the Strike Zone will be as dangerous as a Pitcher that throws 100 MPH.

When someone strikes out 218 Times in a season, I expect 40-50 HRS, not 18. Good Luck. Eventually you will be out of a job when you strike out once for every 2 at bats with RISP and don't hit HRS at least. The old launch angle crap. Still think that Dubon will be one that will hurt more then the Moncada Trade. Especially with Bogaerts a Free Agent after next season. That Salem team was something though, Moncada, Dubon, and Bennintendi, leading off.

I think they were hoping the Marlins would take him, so make it easier to move Chavis to 1st. 3rd base is a log jam. This a huge Minor League season for Ockimey. Still think he is part of a Trade. -

It will be interesting year, with Sale and that Shoulder. Pitched only 35 innings from July 11, till end of season.

Sale's contribution in 1st half of Season was huge, in the 2nd half it was Price.

His bad evaluations about his Defense, might be the difference in him not taken, plus he strikes out at a 33% rate goes against him too, good luck in the Majors. Saw him play this year for Portland, probably best player on team, Chavis just got called up, not counting that. That's scary.

Left unprotected, tells me he wasn't in Sox Future plans, as everyday 1st Baseman. Probably have other Plan at this position, and don't want him to block the position for Future prospect. Wouldn't shock me if Sox happy he is taken, so they can maybe move Chavis there, and see how it works out. Maybe Dalbec.

I think the Sox were showcasing Ockimey in AFL, for a Trade, lots of Scouts, there. His poor performance there, Sox are now gambling, a Team wont take the chance on him now, and left him unprotected. Sox were 63-26 when Leon caught, and 51-29 when Vazquez caught. Don't need anybody. If its not broke..... How much money was spent on all those wins. SQUAT! You bring in another clown, from another team, got to learn everything all over again. Do the Pitchers like the way he calls a game? Loses team chemistry, these are the kind of stupid moves, dumb teams make. Leave it ALONE!

Then he should give Bennintendi, a portion of his pay. That Catch might have saved the Post Season for the Sox. Good thing we didn't have JD in Left Field.

If money is good, I'd sign Buchholz, hope he does good and flip him for Prospects. These are the kind of signings, that if done right, could help out to build up some Minor League talent. Sox need to sign Miller. And I'm OK. He's better then a closer, can get more then 3 Outs.

I already got my binky this year in the Minors, besides Reyes, Alexander Montero. Saw him Pitch for Lowell, and he has some nasty stuff. The game I saw he was Outstanding. He got hurt in game, and took him out. Hasn't pitched since, but they promoted him to Salem. That was weird. But, anyway if this promotion is true, he has gone from 1 season in DSL, by passed GCL, and went to Lowell, then Salem, that's a hell of a jump. Here's his history. He by passed 2 Leagues, entirely. And both won a WS. Remember DD used same formula with the Tigers, only difference was the kids we Drafted on this Sox Team, were huge impacts. Just be happy DD, didn't screw that up. Remember after AS Break, Sale had only 4 starts. So basically for 2 Months, he had very little impact on this team, later in season. Price came through and not many see this, during stretch run.

84 million for 4 Starters. Good thing for Sales contract. This trend will continue until you start developing in the Minors. You will pay for Pitching.
