Starters who hold teams to 4 runs or under for 6, it gets to a BP battle, you get to other teams weaker BP, and yours is strong. Starters wont matter, then. Games will be won in the 7,8,9 innings.

The game has been shortening up since the 100 Pitch count. 7, 8, 9, Innings are the difference in games. 6 innings is about the norm in games for Starters. The good GM's realize Relievers who shorten the game is the future. You need a deep BP for this. Yanks have one now. And they got their worst ones out in Clippard.

And here's what the Fans don't seem to understand. The Market. If Kahnle, keeps improving, you could flip Chapman, or Kahnle, he has 3 years of Team control, and get haul back in Prospects. The best value to Trade to get very good Prospects back now is Relievers. You want to build back your Farm, get Relievers. Every year at the July 31st Deadline Teams are giving up huge Talent in the Minors, for 1 Reliever.

I would have liked to get Kahnle, couldn't believe he was included. He could be the gem in this Trade. Helps both teams.

Another thing Sox are on the Clock, if the Rays make a move to strengthen their BP, they will be tough, going forward. They have the Starters.

Johnson pitches good tonight and Chavis is holding his own at Double AA, in fact I think he's starting to get it both might be valuable Trade Pcs. At this point you want to keep the Lower level arms.

Pawsox came back after giving 8 runs in the 1st inning, they won 9-8. Maybe bring them all up to Boston.

Velazquez is scheduled to Pitch tonight at Pawtucket, I think Johnson last pitched on Friday, I think they call up Johnson. Johnson pitched on Thursday, so Tuesday would be his scheduled start, I think Johnson. He pitched real good last start, 7 innings 3 hits 0 runs.

Went to a DH at Shea in 69 late in the year with my Pop, first game they had a kid named Nolan Ryan pitching, His 1st game. Had 13 K's and 7 BB's. He won. 9 innings.

Situational hitting stinks on this team. Want to be heroes, instead of giving themselves up, to help the team. That's on the Players. You don't take Pitches if it's there to move a Runner over. You box yourself in on 2 Strikes. Pitchers aren't stupid. You have to have plan before you go to the plate. Outs win games, in this sport. I'm not counting Lin in this. Like that kid. Seems only one with a plan each at bat.
