Good Trade, gave up very little for him. Anderson, is so-so, and any 17 year old who's been in the DSL for 2 years, anybody's guess.

I hope Management don't take the platoon route with Devers, let him face Lefties. He needs as much time for him to catch up to the speed of the Majors. Mentally. If he is not going to play every day, send him down. Every day precious for a 20 year old.

I like Discarcina, a few years back when he was the Pawsox Manager, he worked a lot with the kids that are here now. Real good baseball mind. Always felt Position players make better Managers.

That extra inning game against the Yanks, Fister pitched good for 2 innings, then lost it.

Career LHB are hitting .273 against Paxton. That stinks. He's better against RHB.

If Texas Trades Darvish, then the Sox have to call up the Rangers, for Beltre. But first lets see Devers. By the way Devers hit .278 this year against Lefties. He's not just a Lefty Bat against Righties, play him against the Lefties too. Best way to evaluate him.

You guys are right Devers, should be called up, this Offense is stagnant, I would even put Travis at 1st, try the kids to light a fire under their ass. Farrell can bring in Marrero in late innings with a lead for Defense. If he thinks of it.

Yanks got Andujar, for 3rd. Another kid that looks good. Hitting .312 both at Double and Triple AAA.

On Base % is .275 2nd worst in the Majors, since break.

Since All-Star game this team is hitting .210. Shut Out 9 times this season. Pitching is keeping us in this thing.

2nd Wild Card is really close now. It will affect Trade Market as far as AL teams Trading. Texas is only 3.5 behind, doubt they will want to Trade Beltre now. KC is 2nd Wild Card now, doubt they deal anyone.

Just saw him play, 4 games. He made 2 errors on throws, in 4 games that I saw. That was at Double AA. Hitting no question. He can hit, just hope I'm really wrong, and you guys are right.

No small sample size for his career, in the Minor League level, as far as his Defense. About a .940 Fielding % there, and it gets harder now. This is what concerns me. Not his hitting.

We just have to have patience. Growing pains. Dombrowski and Ownership, dropped the ball on this kid. He should have been in Triple AAA month and half ago. Give him 9 games in Triple AAA, then promote to Parent Club, why didn't they move him to Triple AAA a long time ago. Nothing to lose. Forgot needed those Rehabs for Sandoval, and Peralta.

The Sandoval situation screwed this all up. I'm glad he's up too. But the Front Office should have promoted him to Triple AAA all the way back to June. It was obvious he could hit Double AA, he needed the experience and learn speed of the game, at a Higher Level. Speed of the game includes quick decisions at that position, so not to hurry yourself. They wasted valuable time for Devers, for Players that wont help the parent club, and they couldn't see it. All about money. Valuable time was wasted, and now Front Office wants Devers to be savior. Hope he kicks ass.

He can hit, fielding another story. He could have used those 20 games in Triple AAA, we gave to Pablo and Peralta. Growing pains for him and us Fans. Patience.
