Went to the Trenton game tonight, that kid Estrada impresses me. Aaron Hicks was there for a rehab, no big deal saw him play Double AA for New Britain, a few years ago when he was with the Twins. Camarena got hit hard, but your Relievers shut them down. Amazes me that even your low level Pitchers are ahead of Portland. This kid Estrada is going to push Torres. Going tomorrow too, good to be retired.

Consistency is all I look at in young Pitchers. Remember a lot of the good Players in Low A Players have been promoted this time of year. But a good outing. Maybe 4 or 5 starts left. Keep building off this, and last start.

I bet I could too. Positional Players they are good, Pitching they are not good at all. Owens has 6 BB's in 4 innings. From the Majors to Double AA, seems its other way around. Not too many 1st Rounders do that.

2 First Rounders in Portland, Ball and Owens. The Yanks Double AA Trenton, is dominating that league, with Younger Pitchers. The Sox bad Drafting will cost this team in the long run. Cost Free Agents, and Trades. Lets Compare Trenton Team ERA 2.81 Portland Team ERA 4.90

Agree, they should try Ball with the bat. Why not, get some vision. He had a real nice swing in High School, (I know, it's only High School), but see if that's something you can work with. I use to have the tape of him hitting, cant find it. If someone here has it please Post it.

Carson Smith 1st Rehab went not too good. Pitching for Portland in 1st inning. Walked the bases full, got 1 out, then taken out. 18 pitches 5 for strikes. 2 Of the walks scored. When Ball took over in a 1-0 Count.

So the kids on the Dodgers now should be slumping soon? Oklahoma City is in the PCL. HRS are the difference in that league not average, Dubon hit good for Salem and Portland last year, and before that. Seager, and Bellinger hasn't effected their Power, and they now play in a Pitchers Park in LA. But your right, power numbers are a little miss leading in that league. -
