Not the point, if your 50 and could have made it. It matters more that a 20 year old was paying attention, and thinking. Smart wins a lot of games. Should have a stat for this.

With 2 outs off with the hit, good runner, game was tied up, you force the issue, play in Outfield has to be good, throw to relay man, who in turns has to make a good throw, with Catcher making the play. This is moving fast, in a pressure situation. It was an excellent gamble. Because of situation. More things has to go right for the Defense, to succeed. And it didn't.

If Acevedo is not in top 100 in BA list, then either they missed him, or tells you how strong the Yankees Farm is. He should be in the top 50. They got Groome but not Acevedo, they must have been drinking that day.

hahaha Only 1 other way, he does things so dynamic in Spring Training, that they will look like cheap f***s, not to make team better. 10.4 million combined for 3 years that's chump change, what's that 3.5 a year? And they are worrying about that? Is this right the Dodgers are paying 33.585 million this year in Luxury Tax? Wow! Just read that including this year, the Dodgers will have paid over 100 million dollars in Luxury Tax in last 3 years.
