I bet the Guardians are hoping they face the Twins, Yanks are going to give them a series. If Bentances and Chapman get hot with that kid Green, they have a BP that could give the Guardians trouble.

Combine 1st base and DH last year to this year. How many RBI's are you short? Exactly 100 to this point. That's the problem. DH big problem, 127 RBI's last year, 61 this year. From the 2 main players who do this. Ortiz and Ramirez.

How did Papi do in Centerfield? Saw one of longest HRS hit by Say Hey in Shea Stadium, when I was a kid. In Centerfield there was back-drop on top of it was a clock, he hit it. Amazing the Astros are more dangerous with RISP than bases empty. .294 with RISP and .277 bases empty. .294 with RISP your going to score a lot of runs.

Last night on radio, they said the Astros are the anti Bill James team. Swing at most 1st Pitches in Baseball. Their OBP is the best because they get hits (swing the bat), and don't rely on BB's.

Astros have to win, 1 loss and Cleveland win its over for Astros. A tie at end of season Guardians get homefield, based on season series record. Guardians are playing the White Sox, that ought to be a slaughter. 2 wins its over for Astros. So basically 1 loss by Astros and its over, unless the White Sox seep the Guardians. haha

Merloni just said Sale Astros hasn't faced the Astros this year, he almost guarantees they will have problems seeing him the 1st time. What does he know he only played the game. Kind of Pitcher, hard to pick up the ball when you never faced him. Easier to time with his motion, the more you see him.

By the way Tanaka for the Yanks in 4 starts in Sept. has a 6.46 era, I think he goes tonight. He's the Yanks Porcello. Instead of hitting Porcello's, you get a lot of Tanaka's in NY. Edit: Tanaka goes Friday, Blue Jays should hit a lot of Tanaka's.
