And sign him for a couple more seasons !
  2. Oscars
With Garrett Cooper just traded to the Red Sox , and Grissom joining this week, the Sox will only be carrying Rafaela’s weak bat in the lineup.
  3. Oscars
Why the hell is Rafaela leading off? WTF
  4. Oscars
Devers is not in todays lineup
  5. Oscars
Gotta add Chris Sale’s extension to the list of hideous Red Sox contracts
  6. Oscars
Given the current personnel that’s just not realistic
  7. Oscars
The Sox are 22nd in batting average and 19th in OPS. That’s not going to cut the mustard in the AL East
  8. Oscars
This popgun lineup will put up a lot of zero’s if it doesn’t get some help.
  9. Oscars
Down 4-0 against this pitcher with the Sox popgun lineup, this game is over . As for the defence, absolutely putrid. SS is the premium fielding position on the field, and the Sox need to get a real one, or this will be Kike part 2.
  10. Oscars
We were told the defence would be better this year, but so far it stinks again. The Sox are committing 0.91 errors per game, the 5th worst in MLB
  11. Oscars
Overall it’s a pretty average lineup, especially when the top of the order is not scoring runs.
  12. Oscars
Buying younger and better players when the team is ready sounds great, but it appears currently the Red Sox are not a desirable club for free agents .

Duvall signs with the Braves for 3 million

Orioles just traded for an ace, Corbin Burnes

Paxton to the Dodgers on a 1 year deal for 12 million plus incentives.

    Stroman signs with the Yankees

    Imanaga signs with the Cubs.

This line from John Tomase sums it up for me. “But in removing Sale, he sends the message that waiting around for low-probability best-case scenarios is no way to run a team”.
  19. Oscars
Some other move is definitely in the works ……
  20. Oscars
    Finally something gets done!
  21. Oscars
I will let Jeff Passan know you don’t think the Red Sox were serious bidders 😉
  22. Oscars
MLB trade rumours are reporting that the sox (among others) are pivoting from the Otahni sweepstakes, as they don’t thing he will sign with the Red Sox.
  23. Oscars
Could the Sox trade Yoshida for pennies on the dollar just to get him off the roster, as he doesn’t offer any value in the field, and his bat isn’t good enough for DH ?
  24. Oscars
Hmm. Maybe because I didn’t work for the Red Sox baseball ops team, and I didn’t know they were going to replace him with the corpse of Corey Kluber .
  25. Oscars
For not doing what it took to sign him. Bloom’s 2023 rotation was abysmal.
