  1. How many other options do we need?
  2. I had very high hopes for Benintendi after 2018, but really, outside of that one year he’s been a sub-800 OPS corner outfielder. He’s not a bad player, but he’s really not someone I miss and three hot weeks this year don’t necessarily change anything. We have other outfielders we can try…

  4. Shouldn’t the Yankees do the same thing with Clay Holmes and Willy Peralta?
  5. If nothing else, it is impressive how you call yourself out. And do so without being prompted…
  6. Two usually does the trick...
  7. I think no one was excited when the Sox signed Wacha, but he has been pitching like an All Star...
  8. Yes but every extra inning game has at least one road team...
  9. Really only one guy failed in the 9th. With ghost runners, blown saves in extra innings could be really common to the point of skewering league-wide numbers this year…
  10. Yes. For example, the Yankees HAVE Aaron Boone. And he can trash them…
  11. No. He was a waiver claim who needed to be added right away…
  12. A DFA can inspire some hustle. But really, at this point is he any better than Dalbec? This isn’t Cano c. 2010 the Sox would be signing …
  13. It has nothing to do with market size. If we play the “big market” game, the Sox shouldn’t have had to fill their DH role back in 2003 with some guy the Twins released. If Cano can hit, he’s worth signing. The little evidence this season has given to date is not positive, however…
  14. Don’t even d to look that deep. Heck, Michael Conforto and Trevor Rosenthal have been available all season long. (And when does any team agree to a one-year pillow deal with Conforto? He can’t be retiring already.)
  15. Is Soxprospects.com incorrect? I might need a more accurate source…
  16. Or if the Sox DFA someone like Tyler Danish or Jaylin Davis…
  17. It just strikes me as change for the sake of change. Especially since the Sox can just wait for Arroyo to get hurt and call up Sanchez…
  18. Not for a player overcoming deafness to play in MLB…
  19. I’m aware of his injury history. I just don’t think upgrading the utility infielder position is much of a solution…
  20. Apparently not. Reality sucks, but Internet forums are horrible. That sum it up?
  21. Stay on the field over who? Arroyo rarely starts
  22. I think calling up Duran and letting him start over JBJ is worth a shot…
  23. Does Yollmer Sanchez really have a higher ceiling?
  24. If Casas is in the immediate future, no point. While I do have faith Cano can outhit Dalbec, I think that bar is pretty low…
  25. Because that type of thing is the sole purpose of Internet forums?
