    Did I miss something? Upon last report, the Padres bailed on this because they did not want to deal their younger pitching like Quantrill. If that is the case, there should be no “Myers deal.” It would be a bad idea to take on three years of Wil Myers just to get an A ball catching prospect who might get fewer plate appearances than your average Somalian (sorry!).
