Agreed. I’d pick
C: Rodriguez
1b: Pujols
2b: Utley (Yes, Utley)
3b: C Jones
SS: ARod
LF: Bonds
CF: Griffey
RF: Ichiro
DH: Ortiz
SP: Pedro, Maddox, Johnson
CL: Rivera
And I want Pat Tabler on my bench in case I need a big hit with the bases loaded
So therefore it discounts his entire postseason career?
Did you know Mariano Rivera only pitched one time in Game Seven of the World Series? And he blew a 2 run lead. Does that mean he wasn’t a good postseason pitcher, too?
Not really sure why Hunter Biden on the board of directors is so bad, but you’re cool with Jared and Ivanka advising POTUS at cost. I assume you were also cool with Bush awarding standardized testing for NCLB to a publishing company that had his wife on the Board of Directors...
I am pretty sure the ultimate goal was to name the best players in multiple sports across the past half century. Not necessarily the best athletes. Renaldo Nehemiah and Jerry Rice we’re both wide receivers for the 49ers. One has multiple track and field records and was an easy favorite for a gold medal in the Olympics (which were boycotted). The other has none of these credentials. Is Rice really a better athlete than Nehemiah? Or just a better football player?
