  1. Referring to the last 2 strikes on Hanley (and the one he was called out on in the 2nd), if Kluber's going to get that call all day, the Sox have no chance.
  2. No but he has always been an excellent base runner. He did the same thing many times when he was with Boston.
  3. Bradley was just called out on that same pitch and of course after not being rung up, Napoli breaks his bat and singles.
  4. Leon needs to start talking to this ump. Price has hit those spots a few times (and better) and not gotten a single one of them.
  5. Would not be making much difference. The Guardians are white hot right now and if there's a break to be had, they are getting it and taking advantage of it.
  6. And yet with any kind of luck he's out of the inning unscored on. The chopper and then the bloop really set this inning up.
  7. So a chopper and a bloop are "weak s***"? You are really delusional in your expectations. Edit- this was posted seconds before the homer
  8. Not much Price can do; a sharp grounder, an infield chop and a bloop.
  9. Even though he didn't hit it well, I was glad to see him go after the first pitch fastball; he takes that way too much for strike one and then the breaks the pitches start.
  10. Interesting on Leon giving the signs via sequence. Sox are suspicious of something fishy at Progressive Field.
  11. You post when things are bad or good. That cannot be said of some other(s).
  12. And the nattering nabob of negativism is off and posting early.
  13. Does Leon toss the mask to the ump on purpose? That's at least the 3rd time I've seen him do that he his year.
  14. Bogie has looked lost for about 2+ months. He is doing a marvelous impersonation of 1st half 2014 Bogaerts without a clue how to lay off a down and away breaking pitch. to borrow from A League of Their Own, can't hit 'em, can't lay off em.
  15. Pretty sure he got the win; Bauer didn't go long enough to qualify.
  16. Worst thing is he almost always takes strike 1 which is almost always a fastball.
  17. At this point I would almost rather see Bogaerts take strike 3 on a breaking pitch tha see him flair at aanother one in the dirt.
  18. What's the deal on balls hit to right?
  19. There was one of only 2 ways it could go.
  20. Need the 2 3 4 5 hitters to do something this inning.
  21. Two more "strikes" that have called on Sox hitters and not on Tribe batters.
  22. He was traded to the Orioles for a kid named Eduardo Rodriguez.
  23. Plus with Miller going this long is they won't see him tomorrow.
  24. if you cry gloom and doom often enough, you will eventually be right. You must have been a joy to be around for 3.9 games in the 2004 ALCS.
  25. Another classy post from you. Is your constant preoccupation with sex due to your lack of occupation with sex?
