    The first one was a tremendous play. The second was a tremendous play set up by lack of hustle out of the box and again rounding second. The third was the result of not learning and a dumb play anyway. Pearce was thrown out lugging a piano. This one was bad baserunning.

    And I’m not a big fan of booing but in this case it is well deserved because there have been waaaay too many mental errors this year. Physical errors happen; mental ones are lack of focus.

    He’s not getting lit up; 6 of those hits have been ground ball/weak contact types. But the lack of swing and misses is a major concern.

    Moon, to put someone on ignore, just click on their poster name and then View Profile. On the left hand side you will see Add to Ignore List. Click on that and voila, their posts are no longer seen by you. That being said, BW earned a banning last night, so until he comes back in some other iteration, there are no more issues with him.

    If Pedroia is back next week, I would seriously consider sending ERod down (he does have options left). Maybe that will get through to him because whatever they are doing now ain’t working. Maybe Leon can do something with him ala Crash Davis and Nuke LaLoosh.

    Despite all his talent, I’m really starting to think ERod is never going to get it. He has absolutely no idea of how to pitch. He doesn’t trust his stuff, he has no idea of how to set hitters up (and Vazquez is not much help in that regard) and no indication that he’s even trying to learn the craft.
