    The Dodgers have 5 guys at .747 or lower in tonight's line-up. We have two. Don't just look at the glitzy top 2-3 batters to determine who has the better line-up. (They do have 4 guys over .820, while we have 3, balance beats a couple or three beasts.

    I disagree. Yoshida, almost all his money plus Garcia and Romero would be a very competitive offer. Subbing Arias for Romero would seal the deal, IMO.

    If we get a really good SP'er (hopefully not a rental) I'd be fine with no RP'er. We could move Fitts or use Sandoval in relief.

    I read somewhere about Yoshida with cash being involved in the trade for Clase. If this were possible, I'd try hard, here. He does have a year left, so maybe it would be worth a strong bid. The article suggested Romero, cash and Yoshida, but thought it would take Jh Garcia or Arias.

    Big Series facing us, now. We gotta stay focused: no unforced errors.

    Criswell went 5 scoreless innings, 2 H, 2BB, 6K. K Campbell & Hickey homered in game 1. POR won 5-3. Not much to report. GRE was shut out, but Bleis got 2 hits (.738) Arias is now down to .702. SAL lost. Gartrell: 4 IP, 2H, 0ER, 0BB, 5K FCL lost 12-11. They had 6 hits and 11 BBs. Our pitchers let up 13 hits and walked 9.

    I think 3 more years of Duran is worth more than 1 of Bubic. I think KC wins the trade, but if we extend Bubic, we do. From BOS side, it looks like an even deal, since we need a real good pitcher and have a really good OF'er on the bench, every game, as it is, now. (As long as Yoshida DHs.)

    The video replay was pretty clear, to me. It was C I. Sad way to lose a game, where Buehler finally looked good.

    Hill is tied for the record for most teams played with (14.) That's nearly half. I think he's been on 17 different stints, including 3 with BOS (all for just 1 season.)
