    With all due respect, some of you should just follow another team. I mean it. Our team has over performed beyond just about everyone's expectation, but finding every single negative aspect of the team has become an obsession. We are going to win this game, and if we don't, we'll still make the playoffs and deserve it. Man, this place is depressing.

    Both teams still have to win. Just because one team lost to get to play in the second game doesn't make that a better spot to be in. Burning your best pitcher hurts. Burning 2 hurts in the next round, too.

    They did play the NL West, this year, so harmony has a point. The big negative run differential trumps all, to me. The Yanks, Sox and jays deserve it more.

    We need 2 3Bmen. Iggy is quick enough to cover 2B and 1B. Yes, I shoulda seen the L-R thing Cora loves and flipped Bobby Dee with Schwarbs.

    I'd like to see Iggy play over Arroyo, too, but Arroyo did play good D and hit well, too. I'm glad Iggy is starting.

    Now, that's a real recency effect at play. What is Arroyo's in the mini time frame?

    It does seem a bit unfair that Altuve will have half the K area as Judge, but it would also seem unfair, if it was as big as Judge's zone for him, and that small for Judge.

    I know, and I agree with your position. Rose was a prick for doing that in an AS Game.

    I can, too, but Iggy is a better defender and is hitting very well. (There's that recency effect, again.)

    Fosse was 3 feet up the line- blocking the plate. The play was legit. He left Rose no place to slide.

    I brought up this point, earlier, and also making sure a player that crouches in his stance does not have his K zone shrunk. I will say, Altuve having a K zone over his head might be an issue. If you make Altuve's K zone universal, we'll see a lot of walks.

    That's one reason I always hated him. I know Hate is a strong word, but he earned it.

    Richards does not have the accuracy to know for sure whether he was aiming for the head or the butt.

    Just give us a consistent strike zone, so everyone knows what to expect. I'm sure it can be tweaked, if some flaw is found.

    Going against the lefty, so Dalbec will be in the line-up. Devers, Renfroe and JD have HRs off this guy. My guess is Verdugo sits, but we'll see about Schwarber. With 3 games at the NL park coming up, soon, and no DH, we may see JD and Schwarber play all 3 of these O's games, regardless of a lefty or righty pitching. I'm guessing this: 1. Kike CF 2. Renfroe RF 3. Devers 3B 4. Bogey SS 5. JD DH 6. Dalbec 1B 7. Schwarber LF 8. Iggy 2B (Maybe Arroyo) 9. Vaz C (Vaz always catches Sale)

    At least robo umps calling balls and strikes will be consistent. It seems like half of a pitcher and hitter's approach to hitting on any given night is studying or adjusting to the umps proclivities.

    Hard to know, if that is why he enjoys his niche. I know one reason he stayed was for family.

    Throwing up and in is important, too, but never to hit the head on purpose. The danger is that nobody is always that accurate. Pedro hit is fair share, and I'm sure he did on purpose, at times, but I don't think he ever aimed for the head. I think he may have aimed 2 inches from the head a few times, and that was a big part of his success.

    Let it go for replay, yes, but why not ask the ump to check with the other umps?
