  1. I have about 3-5 guys ahead of Brasier on my demotion/DFA list. Before tonight, Brasier was doing pretty good for quite some time. 10 games 11 IP 6 H 1 ER (0.82 ERA) 2 BB 10 K .400 OPS Against 1.83 FIP Last 28 Days, before tonight, team OPS Against Leaders .296 Schreiber .409 Brasier .574 Diekman .605 Davis .648 Sawamura .667 Houck .731 Danish .755 Strahm Starters .562 Crawford .651 Pivetta .728 Wink .747 Hill .827 Wacha .984 Bello 1.296 Seabold n/a Eovaldi & Whitlock
  2. WAR was a great band, just go with the grooves.
  3. True dat! Shout out to Jeter. (Never thought I'd say that.)
  4. But, only his frozen head.
  5. We have like 18 left fielders and 2 CF/RF'ers who can only play D- Refsnyder not included.
  6. Big Nate will see you when it counts-- IN OCTOBER!
  7. Mata had an interesting night: 4 IP 1 H 0 ER 5 BB 7 K Rafaela is 4 for 5, so far- all singles. Uberstine went 5.1 IP 2 H 0 ER 1 BB 10K
  8. I'm not counting on him, either, but adding one more arm into the mix can never hurt. The financial damage might, though.
  9. I’m glad you said that. You said the same about Big Nate.
  10. The negativity is over the top. I understand temporary anger, but it is often not enjoyable for me. To each his own
  11. HR Leaders in today's Line-Up: 30 Judge 22 Rizzo 21 Stanton 15 Story 13 Torres 9 Donaldson 9 Carpenter
  12. IMO, if we trade for a 1Bman, Dalbec goes before Cordero, Duran & Refsnyder, unless he heats up before any trades or Kike's return.
  13. They are like vitriol venting vessels.
  14. 1. Refsnyder RF (our new stud) 2. Vaz 1B (OMG!) 3. JD DH (time to wake up the echoes) 4. Bogey SS (keep the echoes awake) 5. Dugo LF (3rd in RBIs- comfortably ahead of JD and X) 6. Story 2B (time to earn your keep) 7. Dalbec 3B (leash is down to its last link) 8. Plawecki C (can he help Kutter negotiate the Yanks line-up?) 9. Duran CF (getting a chance v a lefty) SP: Crawford (Do you believe in miracles? YES!)
  15. I've not given up on any of these young arms, but yes, this was a christening by fire for Bello and Seabold to a lesser extent. I'm hopeful we won't have to count on them for too much longer, particularly down this tough schedule stretch. It seems like our injured players are all taking longer than expected to return. I'm not predicting anything, but I think we get a win, tonight.
  16. I can’t imagine after Wink’s experience, them not doing anything for Seabold.
  17. I'm not all that optimistic about Hill, either, but I would not write him off. He could become a key pen piece down the stretch and maybe allow us to pool our resources to get one solid RP'er rather than 2 decent ones. (Wink might be able to do that, too.)
  18. Hey, look on the bright side: we shut out the Yanks for 2 innings, tonight!
  19. The first 12th of his contract has been a very big disappointment. If it wasn't for the RBI total, we'd be talking about CC, Pablo & Story in the same breath.
  20. Getting awfully tired of watching solo blasts followed by the same guy making outs with men on base. Players going 3 for 4, and the one out was the time we really needed an out. It's just one game, but this is becoming a pattern.
