  1. True. Cordero is not doing himself any favours.
  2. We may end up putting Kike on the 60 day IL and add Kelly, Bastardo or German to the 40. Broken record here: DFA Diekman for another slot. I’m more open to DFAing Brasier than before, but he’s not on the top of my list.
  3. … and one way we can get a better feel on his value and a little better sense on what we can count on him for in 2023 and beyond. Whether he does good or badly after the ASB won’t tell us everything, but we should get a better read on him by playing him FT or near FT going forward.
  4. Dalbec was a 4th round pick and Duran a 7th. Just making the bugs means neither was really a whiff.
  5. His BAbip is a full .023 from his career mark. Explode? Going from .238 to .261 is going to that bad? Even if he goes to last year's .279, he won't look that awful.
  6. We likely won't even trade all the 2022 free agents at the deadline. There is no need to have a total make-over, start from scratch, do-over.
  7. He is the best projected talent going forward2, and he's already proven he is up at the top. I think anyone in his shows would think they deserve the best deal. I don't hold it against him, but I don't have to pay him what he wants, either. I am certain Bloom won't.
  8. He seems like he has a firm grip on what's important in life. I wish him the best.
  9. So, $500M/25? Lol
  10. Great! He’s unavailable when hot and now gets vaxxed when cold. Thanks! Maybe he’s worried about job security, more, now.
  11. Yes, and more so with lower picks..
  12. Yes, and more so with lower pucks.
  13. True, but at least we’ll know for sure, he’s not part of our future plans, something we might already be nearly certain about.
  14. I said “before” not at the start, but yes, there were times they both were in the pen.
  15. 3 more than before. We could also have seen Crawford, Wink & maybe Hill in the pen.
  16. We might end up seeing a lot more of Wong, Bello, Crawford, Wink, Downs and maybe even German, RHern, DHern and others, if things keep going south.
  17. I’m not disagreeing, but if our starters were healthy, our pen would be much stronger
  18. We have so few core players with 2+ years of team control, so I think trading one of them worries me. Of course, what we get in return, and should be something very good, matters more.
  19. Sounds like nobody knows what to expect on him.
  20. They need a lefty who is better than what they have. Drek is not better than any MLB lefty, right now. We might get some low level prospect if we pay half his salary, but I expect nothing.
  21. It’s hard to know what to expect from any of these draftees. Fingers crossed.
  22. I feel the same. Expecting to get anything for him, including Salary relief is unrealistic.
  23. Possible, but we could unload only rental players and build a competitive teams for 2023. The spending budget might near $110M. That’s a lot of talent.
  24. We took 2 guys that many services had going much lower… like by a round or more lower. I hope Bloom knows more than the services
