    I'm not saying '23 was close to '21- just that '21 was not all that good. We've had no good rotation since 2018.

    Our rotation numbers... 2023 4.68 ERA/ .766 OPS Against 2022 4.49/.763 2021 4.49/.763 (not a typo- exact same as 2021) 2020 5.34/.861 2019 4.95/.781 (worse than any year after 2020.) 2018 3.77/.697

    To me, the rotation is what gives a team the best shot. Our rotations have been crappy since 2018. Time IS up!

    Indeed, and just because a witness is discredited, it does not mean nothing bad or illegal happened. IMO, he's legally innocent until proven guilty, and I think there is one case pending, so...

    Devers brings so much more to the team, that his defense is far outweighed. Maybe, someday we move him to 1B, but Casas deserves a longer look at 1B, before we think to make him a DH. The Yoshida to DH idea makes too much sense, as to make a big corner IF shuffle for 2024 a non issue.

    Agreed, and with Abreu looking like a promising OF'er, and Duran as an emergency back-up. I'd roll the dice in CF. If we can flip RF to a RHB with some power, at no added cost, I'm thinking maybe 2B is the area to upgrade, and the rest of our resources goes to the rotation.
