  1. still not released. this is the latest info i could find: Oakland Athletics starter Rich Hill suffered a setback in his recovery from a groin strain and may require a stint on the disabled list, per multiple reporters via MLB Trade Rumors. During a bullpen session, Hill said he felt a pull on the 33rd pitch of the session and he’ll now head back to Oakland to undergo an MRI. Hill hasn’t pitched since May 29, which MLBTR notes is when the A’s could backdate his DL stint to, but the severity of the strain is still unknown.
  2. i am not being sarcastic here. i love his stuff and believe he will pitch well when given another shot later this month.
  3. I'm guessing it wasn't weed based on: Perez failed the test for an undisclosed performance-enhancer but i agree with you. if it was weed i am fine with him being drafted by my team. but it sounds like some sort of steroid.
  4. agreed. 100%. there is def something for giving the guy who has been "red hot" a chance in a big spot.....
  5. ouch. i wonder where this ranks on the alltime list of terrible first starts after being traded. got to be up there.....
  6. GAME 59 - JE JBj: 0-4 JE: 2-3 / 3RS / RBI / BB Score: JBj: 33 JE: 20 Tie: 6
  7. i know. unfortunately i chose to live 6 hour drive away from the Fens so i only get the Fenway Frank 1 or 2x a season......
  8. lol. i would prefer it cost my team 4 wins over the course of a season if the strikezone could be made uniform and 99% accurate. because in the end i will know my team lost because of performance not human error.
  9. robo strike zone now!
  10. POTD. post of the day. well done SnC
  11. I am looking forward to clay getting another shot as a starter later this month. He will be ace like.

  13. i do not want the Red Sox to draft anyone who tested positive. i dont care how high of a ceiling he has. let the Yankees have him....
  14. GAME 58 - JBj JBj: 1-4 / 2RS / BB / SB JE: DNS (PH 0-1) Score: JBj: 33 JE: 19 Tie: 6
  15. i love the aggressive baserunning. i love the borderline "stupid" baserunning. i love putting pressure on the defense. i love putting pressure on the pitcher. i love how some of our players take off for 2nd the second the ball hits the dirt. run, forest, run.
  16. he had a heckuva game last night. heckuva game.
  17. up and out he is cooked. now he needs to adjust. we all see it. so you know chili sees it. my guess is they will be setting the pitching machine for hard away and hard up. SC gonna put us on a weiner streak. i mean...winning streak.....
  18. there are probably a handful of games each team has had where the Manager has thrown in the towel and is letting the pitcher(s) take a beating which will drive up the ER. whether it be to save the other arms/pen or to teach a lesson or to see how he responds. i think it would be valid to toss out the bottom 5 games for every team and then compare.
  19. QS% Red Sox = 51% NYY = 47%
  20. like your aunt and uncle? 27-30
  21. if only we were 3 games under .500. that would really show us a thing or two....
  22. i love the aggressive running game. no issues.
