i agree Max that baseball is a "fail" sport. as you point out....a batter that fails 7 out of 10 times is one of the best players in the league. but i believe umpires to be separate from that. they are "judges" not "players". we should expect 100% from the people that enforce the rules. or as close to 100% as possible. if that means a robot helps the human umpire then so be it. i am fine with my players failing 70% of the time. i am not fine with my umpires failing 13% of the time.

awesome. since they are so worthless when i'm wrong feel free to not say things like "you predict that every year". i predict the sox will be the only baseball team in history to ever come back from 0-3 in the playoffs and embarrass the other team celebrating the 7 game series win on the opponents field.

i predict jacoby ellsbury will go on the DL. i predict Texiera head will grow another 2 sizes. i predict mccann will be charges with spousal abuse.

i predict the Sox will win the AL East. I predict the Yankees will finish .500. i predict that the yankees will have another player fail for PED's before the season is over.

actually i always predict the yankees to be a .500 team at best. not necessarily last place. i predict the Sox will run away with the division. i predict alot of things.i am usually wrong. but at least i have the guts to make a prediction.
