yup. and JH is now on record saying he wants to reset every 3 years like every other team does. we can count on him to blow out the budget 2 out of every 3 years. not bad IMO. could you really ask much more of the owner of your favorite sports team?

this might be true but i think the plan is to move Mookie now to get under the LT for 2020 so that we can afford to pay Mookie for the 2021-2031 seasons. so the question is - do you want Mookie for 1 season more or do you want mookie for 10 seasons more?

i dont think draft picks are really traded in baseball? football/basketball? yes. baseball? teams trade for MiLB players (of the PTBNL), not draft picks.

i'm on the Board of our local league. numbers have been dropping yearly. some of it is due to smaller pool of kids and some of it is due to lacrosse.
