    you keep calling the budget "imaginary". its obviously real. JH has proven it to be real 2x in the past 6 years. how many more times does he need to proved to you that the Red Sox have a real budget? i just dont get how people still dont realize the Red Sox have a budget. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    lol. i just saw the post and was about to type my mea culpa on that. seems the players are smarter then i give them credit for. they waited until it became "official". btw - did you see Mookies response to JBj's post? still think there is no chance he will sign back with the Sox next offseason???!!!!

    yes, we should. but again i believe that we were caught doing something in 2018. if that turns out to be unfounded i will certainly admit i was wrong to have already laid judgement on the current coaching staff...

    i would expect any team that traded for a $27MM 1 year rental to make that same public statement. that doesnt make it honest though.

    he was an offensive stat compiler pure and simple. he slapped the ball to right field. if he played anywhere but YS he would have been out of baseball in 3 years. an average player at best that benefited from George's overspending and the miami clinics. some legends are written by ability. jeters wasnt.

    but how is that a double standard? HoF has zero to do with untouchable building block. its a stupid comparison. plus your first post was simply not true. xander was not the worst ranked fielder in all of baseball and he was not the worst ranked SS in all of baseball. but that also has zero to do with stating the fact the derek jeter does not deserve to be a HOFer.
