  1. Xb wants to review everything
  2. Has Porcello gone to his Sinker at all this game?
  3. Is this a 2020, edge of the 'Cliff' question?
  4. They had good, hard contact but nothing doing yet. It's been a nice pitchers duel. Tip your cap, Bundy pretty good.
  5. I just meant that Miller outshines Allen. I get why you like the more elite RP to face the more elite batters. Not for nothing, but it has obviously worked real well for the Guardians.
  6. I don't know too much about Seth Smith, but I know Mancini has taken a seat due to him being back. Mancini was doing well too.
  7. That was better... holy crap!
  8. Well,if Rick throws better pitches then maybe he'll throw less of them
  9. I think Miller makes him look bad. Kimbrel is better than Allen overall by about 15 points according to ERA-. Kimbrel has an extra year (2011) in which he was excellent, so that helps him, as it should.
  10. Well, with Ortiz gone, maybe. It starts with Farrell. With Showalter running his mouth about the flu thing at the start of the season, I wish Farrell prepared them better, with a little more fire under their ass. I don't get the impression he's that type of manager, never have, but I could be wrong.
  11. First pitch of the game. Strike down the middle, no swing. Both sides get a warning.
  12. Take Tampa for example. Leon is 3 for 10 vs Andreise, 3 for 7 vs Snell. i'd probably start Leon in those games. Vaz is 4 for 6 vs Cobb, so I'd start Vaz there. I don't think there's a right or wrong given these sss, but something to that effect I'd do if I were manager.
  13. Vaz vs Bundy; 3 for 8 w/ 2B .375 Leon vs Bundy: 2 for 5 w/ HR and 2 RBI .400
  14. I think Vaz has hands down, won the job. .... for this week.
  15. 25% for each game? That's like 100% for the series. LOL
  16. I'm over the incident, and I never felt like there were leadership problems. I do wonder if Showalter gets over anything. This will still be a heated series if Showalter has his way me thinks.
  17. Oh s*** you're right. This will be 3. He's looking like the real deal Holyfield for them. I'd like to make note the Yanks haven't faced him yet.... just sayin'.
  18. All in all, not a bad April for the Sox. I would've liked to have at least 3 more wins, but they've faced some adversity. I'm looking for a split here, but If we get to Bundy, I love our chances to win this 4 game series.
  19. I was thinking more of, if say Leon has a better history vs a specific SP or vice versa. A traditional Left/right platoon split at catcher would be pretty sweet, I agree.
  20. Betts and Hanley coming up with no outs, I can see why they thought it would be wise to play it safe. It did work out, not the way I would want it to, but the end justifies the means in some cases. If the wild pitch doesn't happen, I still think there's a good chance they still walk HanRam with bases loaded thus scoring Marco.
  21. Vaz is fully healthy at present, so I'll give him the slight edge over Leon on defense. If both aren't hitting, I'll take Vaz. I don't mind switching back and forth all season long though between the two. Play the matchups if there are any notable ones to be found. Keep the both well rested and ready.
  22. I think that particular play was RF, but I agree, that wall loves to take away XBH and has already played a part in doing so this season. Of course it does the same to opposing teams as well.
  23. Yes, I think he would have made it easily. They're playing cautious and in the end it did work out but maybe a little too cautious.
  24. Can't argue with that one. lol
