  1. And they're going to get more games "gifted" to them from bad teams. All decent teams do, over the course of the season. I love how fans were so non-committal to this team being good, one turn through the rotation, but now that we've had not quite two, we all know they're screwed.
  2. No, you goober! It's "we're DOOMED!". Get with it!
  3. Aren't you glad you asked now?
  4. This is true. I attribute that to his struggles with Boston.
  5. Sounds like DVR to me!
  6. Unless the Sox have multiple injuries in the OF this year, probably AAA until 2016. If he's hitting well and the Sox deem it necessary to deal some bodies for SP, he may get another chance in August.
  7. Unfortunately, AAA success doesn't always translate to the bigs. JBJ has no trouble hitting in Pawtucket. That said, I hope he figures it out with the bat at the MLB level. He's way too much fun to watch in the field to trade.
  8. I wouldn't make a panic trade just yet. The nice thing about a balanced team is that an offense can, occasionally, save a pitcher from himself. We should know by June, whether or not the Sox have to find another arm.
  9. Way to wiggle out of it, Masterson.
  10. More emphasis on the running game in the NL?
  11. Works for me. I'll have a better shot of seeing all of the game.
  12. He's hard to figure out. He can be really good. Then, he'll sleep wrong and miss a month, come back and be mediocre. His crappy stretches were always associated with his health. Which is why people are saying "when healthy" he's pretty good. His next two starts should be against the decent hitting O's. Let's see if they light him up.
  13. Tough to beat the "A-rod" threads this weekend. That was some funny stuff from BTR. Yeah, what's up with the start time?
  14. I can't swear to it, but I think he did it twice in that inning.
  15. I think Porcello can handle the light-hitting Nats. The Sox just have to get to Zimmerman. That wont be easy.
  16. I wasn't too excited about Buchholz' first start, so I'm not going to get too wound up about last night. Unless he finds a way to be more consistent, this will be his last year in a Sox uni. It would be a shame, because he's got the talent. It'll be interesting to see how he does against the O's next week. The nutjob will probably throw another shut out.
  17. Please stop making beer shoot out my nose. It stings like a mother...
  18. It's uncanny. I don't know if LF in Fenway is going to be good or bad for him. Should be interesting, either way.
  19. Holt is 2-7 against Tanaka. Not horrible.
  20. So, who do you play at first? Holt?
  21. Amen to that! It's been one long winter.
  22. Thanks. I'm guessing yours is first.
  23. I haven't got a clue as to who "Dutchy" is. But, I can't prove it, so it really doesn't mean much. And I'm puzzled as to why my integrity would be in question. Seems to me that "turn the other cheek" isn't exactly a motto here. I didn't start s***, but I have no problem finishing it. And I tried to keep it private. That didn't work either. If having to take s*** without standing up for myself is what I have to do to earn integrity here, then I probably am in the wrong place.
