    Ahahhahaha ya Ross is going to be here until he's 44 and is only going to be going out every fifth day for lester and will be lucky to hit .100.

    To be fair, elite pitching squashes elite batting ( 2013 alcs for a recent example). And since this offense is far from good, one run through 4 plus innings is not terrible.

    Its hilarious how lester can't throw to first base. He must practice so much pitching from 60 feet six inches that he cant throw accurate anything outside of that.

    As a whole out starting pitching has been pretty average this year. Nesn likes to think it has been incredible and puts all the blame on the offense.

    Just to have a hope they pretty much have to win out until the deadline. If they go just 500 or worse , forget it.

    The free agent bats seem pretty weak. The sox might have to trade for a thumper at the the deadline even if they aren't in the race

    Well he took an ofer his last game with a lot of weak ground balls and hasn't started today out so well. But we will see.

    Ya. He gets on base a good amount but his power has been inconsistent.

    If they do lose, they would pretty much have to win out up until the deadline

    With the number of holes this lineup has, our starting pitching has to step up in order for us to even compete. Buchholz is still inconsistent and peavy imploded in the sixth inning his last start.

    .270 isn't acceptable for someone with minimal power and who is suppose to be one of the key hitters in your offense.
