Well that's all our picks for the day. I'm a little disappointed. Round three starts tomorrow at noon.

Sox take Teddy Stankiewicz with their second round pick. Not crazy about him. Still just a freshman in college so he has some leverage. Low 90's fastball, but he does have a very good breaking ball. Big pitcher's frame, I doubt he'll add much more muscle. He's got good control and he knows how to pitch, so he's a medium floor, vanilla pick.

I'm happy with the Sox first round pick, I'm very happy the Yankees missed Stanek (not so happy the Rays got him) and I like some of the guys still on the board for the Sox second round pick.

I understand this part of their maneuver, but Dozier? That makes no sense. There were a lot of better guys out there they could have signed at a discount.

And there it is, Kansas City takes Manaea just like I thought they would.

And I'm happy too, looks like a win-win.

I already pointed out he could improve his stock and move up in the draft with a more consistent year. The fact that he was drafted by a team he hates is just icing on he cake.

Why would they take a discount? Judge was expecting a higher draft pick slot money.

The Yankees got a couple of corner outfielders with a ton of power, but question marks about their defense and ability to make consistent contact. Stanek would have made a huge difference, he's a "sure thing" type of draft pick.

It sounds like Clarkin cares, and it's up to him whether he signs with the Yankees or goes to San Diego. He had an off year as a senior in high school, he might be able to increase his stock and make more money next year. Probably won't be an easy sign.

I'm just glad the Yankees didn't pick up Stanek. And I love that their newest draft pick hates the Yankees. He said his dad thought he was playing a joke when he said the Yankees drafted him.

Yankees new draft pick Clarkin just said Arizona Diamondbacks beating the Yankees is his favorite moment because "I could not stand the Yankees"

Clarkin and Judge would be good for the Yankees. I don't think Denney will stay behind the plate.

I could see the Yankees signing him if they got cheap with their other two picks. But most likely, I think it will be the Royals at 34.

I like him, I think he's underrated. But the Yankees might be able to get him the next round, that's how far I think he'll fall.

I think it might be a little early for Wilson. Not sure when the Yankees next pick is though after their back-to-back picks.

I hope Clarkin gets drafted before the Yankees.
