I took you and VA off ignore...we will see how it goes. I suspect you are probably right about the Orioles pitching ending up where it usually ends up. I am not sure our pitching will end up much above them, if at all.

Right now is all we know for sure about this season. I could not care less about how Buchholtz did LAST year...or Lester..or Bard.....or the entire team. Can you provide the stats for the end of this season? No? Then you have to deal with the facts as they are right now.

Its a fine line. Pull the SP too soon and the pen gets burned out. Pull him too late and the team loses. In a close game like this I pull him sooner, not later. Valentine waited too long tonite.

After tonite we will be 5.5 games behind the Rays. Sure wish we had a pitching staff as good as the Orioles, who are shutting out the Yankees tonite so far.
