    Jacko is generally a well mannered poster who understands that he is posting on a Red Sox forum. He is far from a troll. I recall that after we won it all last year he was in here congratulating Sox fans on a great year. I also think that in general he is a knowledgeable baseball fan. He is not going away, nor should he. There are too few Yankee fans here to rag on when they lose, and they have certainly lost a lot of games over the past three years.

    We started the season 6-13 mostly because our pitching sucked. And the SP sucked mostly because Cora decided to rest his pitchers in ST. Thats on the manager, and the team is now paying the price for idiotic strategy.

    I am not saying this team doesn't have the talent to make it into the playoffs. I am saying that I can't see them doing it based on the performance they have exhibited this year. Having the talent to do something and actually doing it on the field are two separate things. Unless the pitching does an about face I am sticking to my prediction. And there is no evidence that that is going to happen.

    Yeah, he was out. But you know what? Bogaerts has to make a better throw than that to first base. Bounced it there.

    Guardians and A's will be in there. Best pitching and best moxie. This team is brain dead and the other guys...they find a way to win. The Sox find a way to lose.

    He has now allowed three runs in less than five innings-so far. Yes, thats a crappy start.

    Yeah. None of them. No shutout innings it seems. OK, thats an exaggeration, but our pitching totally sucks and is the reason we will likely not make the playoffs.

    Price is being Price. Again. Sucking. Again. Just like the rest of these SPs except maybe ERod.

    Most of the time he is ice cold. I could see unloading him this offseason as part of a rebuild that we will need to do.

    I was there last month visiting relatives. Really nice area for the most part. Lots of beautiful beaches and spectacular bridges. Very humid, but not unlike other areas of Florida this time of year.
