  1. Lowe blows it. No need to watch the rest of this. But hey! Just wait til next year, right? Same thing as every year.
  2. I think we went about as far as can be expected given the talent level on this team. It sucks that we will lose to the Yankmees to end the season but next year will hopefully be better.
  3. Game over Season over But hey! Just wait til next year, right?
  4. The Yankmees are a good fastball hitting team. Early mixes in a lot of off speed pitches. If his control is good he can handle these guys
  5. Gotta be nerve racking for the Sox pitchers knowing that if they give up more than a couple of runs the game is likely over
  6. They don’t have the talent-this year. If they play their cards right they have a chance to be a very good team next year.
  7. If he didn’t start Cora should have inserted him somewhere (replacing Duran would have been fine) in that close a game.
  8. You missed the point. Abreu is a GG OF. Whether or not he could have made the play isn’t relevant. He should have been in RF. Another mistake by Cora.
  9. Do you have a link to support that? Ronald Acuna, Adonis Garcia, and Lane Thomas are on the list I found. I don’t see Eaton name there. But Abreu is a GG OF. In a close game like this I think it was prudent to put your best defensive players in the game if possible. Never mind. Apparently Eaton has a great arm. Not sure how accurate it is but I still think that the right move was to put my GG OF in RF. Not sure he would have got Chisholm but it was still the right move.
  10. I didn’t see where Eaton was looking but if you saw that it’s on Eaton. The proper play is to run hard and stop only when the 3B coach stops you.
  11. So if Hudson put up the stop sign you should stop. In other words you have to look at the coach-otherwise you won’t see the stop sign
  12. Eaton's job is to keep his eye on the COACH, not the ball. The ball isn't in his line of vision. Thats Hudson's fault.
  13. Overall, I agree. But you can't make dumb mistakes like asking Rafaela to bunt runners over when he hasn't done it much, if at all, this year. Also, he has been hitting fairly well. Can't ask a guy to be successful at something he never practices.
  14. Add the coaching staff-Hudson for not sending Eaton when he could have scored and Cora for asking Rafaela to bunt-I don't think I saw him try to bunt runners over all year-and for not putting Abreu in for Eaton in RF for defense-he might have thrown out the winning run at home. But we were in the game the whole way and had our chances with a bunch of bench players, really-Sogard, Eaton etc. Now we will have to try to win with a rookie pitching tomorrow.
