Still thought he was safe. For anyone who wants to see a horrible replay overturn, check out the play where it looked like the Tigers won on an RBI single. It took the umpires a while just to take the headsets off and they still got it wrong.

He did have a clean 7th inning yesterday and he looked solid then too. It was Kelly starting the 8th when the collapse started.

Inning over. Barnes battled his way out and did it without surrendering the lead. A 1-0 lead is a slim margin to begin with.

At least Barnes was able to get 1 out before issuing the walk to Span. Yesterday's game in the 8th inning went to hell in a hand basket from the very first pitch.

The 1st pitch curveball to Span was pretty damn nasty. Then he come back with a 95 mph fastball.
