  1. Nice job Nunez. Keep extending the inning.
  2. Atta boy Mitch. Keep the line moving.
  3. Looked to me like he injured his ankle trying to plant himself on the floor of the Rays dugout. Definitely didn't look good.
  4. At this point I'm more focused on hearing the extent of Xander's injury. Sucks the Sox are losing but the loss of Xander is a big deal.
  5. Finally out of the inning. Gotta find a way to chip away.....if they don't shoot themselves in the foot more than they already have.
  6. Yes they have. Early on the Rays were reaching base by freaking infield bleeders (with the exception of Crone's HR). After they started hitting more solid but the Red Sox miscues have just added onto the bad day.
  7. The Rays absolutely own the Red Sox today.
  8. Oh my that hurts like hell. On a cold day that hurts all the more. Keiramier beat the hell out of himself.
  9. Agree there. Xander is not a dumbass at all. He made a mistake and then busted his ass trying to let the situation escalate more. The unfortunate deal is seeing Xander having to be carried off the field because he got hurt at the end.
  10. Just cannot get anything going offensively today. Those days are going to happen.
  11. Yeah, there was nobody at 3B to begin with. Is sucks but that's what happened.
  12. If Martinez is dead set on playing the outfield, he's gonna have to work a helluva lot more on fielding balls hit off the Green Monster so he understands how he has to play it. Unless Mookie has a day off, JD won't be seeing RF.
  13. The question I have is why in the world Xander flipped the ball to an empty spot that was 3B. Casper the Friendly Ghost must have been covering 3rd and the only person who saw him was Xander.
  14. Well by the looks of seeing Xander literally carried off the field, that is a horrible break. That was not a good sight to see at all.
  15. Yup and that's just it. Martinez will come around and there's no doubt in my mind he will.
  16. Can't argue this one bit. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71rUccTU%2BSL._SX355_.jpg
  17. Could be and I wouldn't put is past Cash. Cash's issue is he has next to nothing to work with as far as impact players this season but he is a smart guy.
  18. JD hasn't had the greatest start but I hope some Red Sox fans don't stoop to the low of what Yankees fans did when they booed the hell out of Gioncarlo Stanton on his 0-5 day in last week's Yankees home opener. Hopefully our fanbase has more common sense and patience that that.
  19. Just has not been the Red Sox day so far. Hell they've hit some balls hard but right at the Rays at times.
  20. Definitely agree and with the way this Red Sox roster is built, the expectations should be high no doubt.
  21. It's a nice thought but it's way too damn early in the season to say the Red Sox have found an identity for the entire 2018 season. I just like the fact Boston has done what they need to in starting the season.
  22. My first hope for Porcello was that he'd hopefully reach 5 innings considering his pitch count was just above the mid 3's at the end of the 2nd inning. Now Rick's pitches have sharpened up and now he's sitting on just 60 pitches in the 5th inning.
  23. It is a huge deal so you're right. The other thing is you play what is on your schedule regardless of the teams you play. I understand winning is against the Rays, Marlins and Rays again but these games aren't any less important at all.
  24. Jersey Shore blowout.....good call!! It's well on its way to being just that.
  25. 161-1 here we come!
