That was weird. But all in all I'd say it was an anomaly.
  2. Bellhorn04
Brasier pitched consistently great. Not sure what you're thinking of.
  3. Bellhorn04
You're a real positive guy LOL
  4. Bellhorn04
    Just a bummer.
  5. Bellhorn04
    WTF are you talking about?
  6. Bellhorn04
No one knows what kind of extension offer the Sox have ever made to Betts. It might have been a 'take a shot' lowball offer for all we know.
  7. Bellhorn04
Of course he's a better athlete. But this is baseball, not track and field. (Sorry cp. That was pure snark but I couldn't resist.)
  8. Bellhorn04
Jesus Christ. First, hometown deal doesn't necessarily mean you were born there. Second, Harper signed with the Phillies. Third, Mookie is also under control for 2020.
  9. Bellhorn04
I don't understand the thinking that he's all about the money because he hasn't signed an extension yet. Any comments of his I've read just seemed level-headed to me.
  10. Bellhorn04
Did you read all his posts?
  11. Bellhorn04
I think there are also some outside pressures not to leave money on the table, from family, friends, agent and union.
  12. Bellhorn04
I guess they told him to throw a lot more cutters then, and he misremembered. It just shows how messed up he was about being in pinstripes.
  13. Bellhorn04
It's too early to think that way. I have faith that Henry and DD will make him a strong offer.
  14. Bellhorn04
What I love is reading all the Yankee fans bitching about cheapskate Hal and how they're being outspent by the Sox now.
  15. Bellhorn04
Agreed. Mookie has done nothing to warrant any criticism.
  16. Bellhorn04
Not really an extension because he was already under control for those years. This is one of those fancy deals that replaces the arbitration years and makes people's heads hurt trying to figure out what they really mean.
  17. Bellhorn04
I believe you are correct and the article is not.
  18. Bellhorn04
That list is not complete, though. 2013: Shane Victorino 6.1 WAR
  19. Bellhorn04
I like your thinking, Nick. From your lips to Henry's ears.
  20. Bellhorn04
All of your posts about Mookie are pure unadulterated nonsense.
  21. Bellhorn04
There's some fresh chatter on MLBTR about Sale and the Sox discussing an extension.
  22. Bellhorn04
    Maybe even from the Hamfighters.
  23. Bellhorn04
His splits were horrendous, no question. But he's not lying about the fact that his pitch mix changed significantly. You could certainly call it making excuses.
  24. Bellhorn04
A guy on the Yankee forum thinks all the cutters showing up there were actually sliders. Look at the decline in fastballs. Pretty sure Gray isn't lying just for the sake of trashing the Yankees.
  25. Bellhorn04
Sonny Gray threw some nice parting bouquets to the Yankee coaching staff, saying they made him throw too many sliders. https://nypost.com/2019/03/05/sonny-gray-yankees-insisted-on-s-tty-pitch-that-ruined-me/
