  1. Sitting 88-89 most of the game. Those who pined for the Red Sox to acquire him should be having second thoughts right about now.
  2. Koji Uehara stat of the day: Since 2010, Koji has allowed a grand total of 17 BB's compared to a whooping 186 K's in 148 IP for a majestic 10.94 K/BB.
  3. Obviously the Red Sox don't have at least two more pitchers capable of closing games. Let's go out and pay 13 million for a one-inning pitcher!
  4. Yes. Eventually they will win a 5-3 game. It's all about probability.
  5. Drew hits a bomb tonight. Calling it now.
  6. Lame: Hiding behind the ignore feature.
  7. Win win win win win win

  9. At least i'm not a coward, hiding behind the ignore feature.
  10. It's funny because he was never a proponent of Iggy and always said he'd never hit enough to be an MLB regular. Constantly looking for reasons to whine, he is.
  11. You never know how players are going to react over the short term to a concussion. They could have taken their time to bring him up. However, i will agree on MVP with the fact that him going 0-fer last night is not necessarily an indication that he's not ready.
  12. Yeah but he was coming up and Iggy was going down anyway. The timeframe is inconsequential to this discussion. The point is that they need to see what they have in Drew. You can criticize the player, but do so on facts and not on made-up BS.
  13. Stephen Drew has had exactly one year where he played less than 150 games before his gruesome injury. He's been generally healthy throughout his career and has always been an above average hitter for the position. Stop making s*** up.
  14. I'm still furious about last night's loss
  15. Well let's take the series tomorrow. That's what's important.
  16. Yeah he closed for half a season in Baltimore. He does have durability issues, but again, dude's lights out. Bailey's looking pretty good too.
  17. Please what? He's had some injury problems, but when healthy, dude is money. 8.03 CAREER K/BB.
  18. We have a pitcher capable of replacing Papelbon: His name is Koji Uehara, and he is awesome.
  19. .....until Uehara takes over as closer, and all is right with the world.
  20. All out of Pepto Bismol. All. Out.
