  1. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-swS9ycNEc_c/UPQ5pda-7aI/AAAAAAAAEH4/m3KtKEUNEaM/s1600/booyah.gif Tex and Youk to the rescue!
  2. WMB is a prototypical corner bat. What exactly are you talking about?
  3. Bradley and Iglesias......top of the order of the future?
  4. Imagine a hot brunette with big natural tits and an apple-shaped ass just knocked on your door and told you she wants you to sex her up right now, no questions asked, no consequences. That was Iglesias' play.
  5. Watching Iglesias play D is baseball porn
  6. inb4 dojji ejaculation
  7. Sub 2.50 ERA, 5 QS in 5 tries. I don't like QS very much, but it's telling.
  8. Jesus RHP can't handle Nava
  9. I thought you were done with him
  10. God i hate Doubront
  11. Pitcher's best friend
  12. Nothing pisses me off more than a pitcher walking batters
  13. Man on second, no outs. Can't score. Infuriating.
  14. It's not happening. Ever Both: Cano on the Sox and Doubront pitching economically
  15. Can't miss players don't grow on trees. The closest thing to a "Can't miss player" this draft is Appel, and he has big signability issues. Other than that, there's no projected generational talent in this draft.
  16. Brentz would only exacerbate this team's overall lack of contact.
  17. I'd still argue that it's very hitter-specific, therefore an overall analysis of swing% doesn't directly apply.
  18. Yet P/PA has been steadily on the rise the past few years, directly contradicting that idea. I read an article about the rising K rate the past few years, and part of the conclusion was that hitters are indeed swinging too hard with two strikes, but they're also too passive trying to work walks. That makes sense.
  19. Also, i think the attempt at inferring that K'ing alot = no plate discipline is incorrect. I think what you meant Rdsx is that they need hitters who can make contact. Salty and Napoli have both been very much above average this season in P/PA
  20. The mental masturbation about Cliff Lee is almost certain to end in disappointment.
  21. David Ortiz was a Free Agent signing.
  22. Dojji, you are quite simply a ridiculous Nava homer. There's no arguing with you. A platoon is a platoon.
  23. They way i see it, i don't think Lee will be available come July, and this team's biggest need will be offense and not pitching. Of course, with baseball you never know. Next thing you know Napoli, WMB and Gomes break out, and you're leading the league in runs socred, but Dempster/Lackey implode and you desperately need a starter.
